Normal painting with albedo in instamat studio asset texturing

So, I’m pretty sure something like this is possible in instamat just not entirely sure how to go about it. Any idea as to how to do it? Im just stuck

How about this approach?

  1. Apply “Bent Normal” during mesh baking.
  2. Add a new multi-channel layer.
  3. In the multi-channel layer, reference the Bent Normal for both BaseColor and Normal.
  4. Create a new layer and use the eyedropper tool to sample colors from the texture in the 2D view, then paint using the brush tool.

InstaMAT does not currently support 2D painting functionality, and as far as I know, it also lacks the ability to paint with multiple colors simultaneously.
