Mesh From Height adaptive mode breaks aspect ratio

Mesh From Height adaptive mode seems to screws up aspect ratio. My input HF (EXR) is 2:1 and it works fine in Grid mode, but when switching to Adaptive it goes 4:1. Also, InstaMAT wants to read the EXR as an environment, not a height map.

Great software by the way. I’m newish to InstaMAT but it seems sweeeet! :slight_smile:

I quickly tested this out. Is this only for EXRs? For me, it’s looking like the opposite behavior. Adaptive mode seems to respect non-square inputs, but Grid mode sets it to square initially.
