LAYER.STACKNAME bug in Image and Data Output Export

Short description:
If you try to export a single material from a multi-material object, the stack name will not be prepended as a prefix.

Expectation:
It should be possible to export single materials with their correct prefixes.

Please see the screenshot below for a detailed description:

Additional Info: Even if there’s only one material in the layer stack, the material name will NOT be used as prefix. InstaMAT Studio exports just the output names as suffix.

Used this Image File Format Extension: {LAYER.STACKNAME}_{OUTPUT.NAME}

Hello @CWernerArt,

I was not able to reproduce this. I exported a single material section from a multi-material asset texturing project, and the layer stack name was included in the output file names using the same file name format you had entered.

Does this happen on other assets as well?

I’ll also mention this internally.

Thanks for reporting!

Hi and thank you for the fast response. I’ve prepared you a quick video how to reproduce the bug (hopefully).

Important: Please watch the whole video, later you’ll see a strange behavior when exporting the very same project again… Any ideas?

Thank you, Chris

Here’s the video link on my personal cloud platform:

Thanks for sharing @CWernerArt!

That is indeed unexpected behavior. I’ll pass this along internally.

Appreciate the detailed video!

Thank you.

I really hope you find the reason.

Regards, Chris
