Hi. Blender user of over 15 years. Plugin isn’t showing up. Studio installed and registered and so on - it works from the looks of it.
MacOS 15.5. Blender 4.4.

Hello @Backdraft and welcome to our community!

Can I please confirm that you have downloaded the separate InstaMAT for Blender integration from the License Management Web App and installed the add-on with the instrucitons on the following page?

Hi, yes I have dl the separate plugin for Blender though it’s only like 102Kb? I installed in the recommended Blender version - which I can’t remember from the top of my head. But that didn’t work either. Had Studio running too just in case. The install went fine but nothing shows in Blender.

Thank you,
R

Hello @Backdraft,

Thanks for the additional information.

I will pass this along internally.

Are you able to try installing InstaMAT Studio and the InstaMAT for Blender integration on another system? Once the add-on has been installed in Blender, the tab should appear to the right of the Blender viewport.

Thanks!

Hello again @Backdraft,

After checking internally, could you try running Blender through the Terminal? This will feed any console information to the active Terminal window and might provide further information.

The following explains how to run Blender through the Terminal on macOS:

To open Blender through the Terminal:

  1. Open the Terminal application.
  2. Find the Blender executable, usually inside the Blender.app, and type its path. E.g: /Applications/Blender.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender

This will feed console information from Blender to the opened Terminal window. You could then try to install and use InstaMAT for Blender.

To find the Blender executable path:

  1. Navigate to the Applications folder with the Finder.

  2. Right-click Blender and select Show Package Contents.

  3. Drag and drop the Blender executable into the terminal

The path to the Blender executable will appear at the cursor location in the Terminal.

Thanks!
