Hi,
I registered on the forum just to ask this question: Is it possible to use offline the Instamat Studio - Perpetual Indie version with no need to connect to the internet at all, after the online initial activation? Simply put, no internet connection needed after the initial activation is done.
Instamat is looking nice and the cyberweek offer quite tempting, but if the internet connection is a requirement to use the software it’s a no go for me.

To answer your question simple, the perpetual license is semi-floating and can be used offline for a while. However, from time to time, there is a validity check that requries an online connection. After the license is revalidated, InstaMAT can be used offline again until the next check.
With that said, offline licensing is available to completely disable that phone-home functionality. It comes at a higher price point, but if you’re interested we could ask the sales team to reach out directly and share more information.

Right now, I’m using Designer, Painter and Sampler from the Substance suite, with no internet dependencies, and I was thinking about Instamat as a possible replacement in the future. So, if there is a viable possibility to do that, I’m interested. Thanks!
