Hello!
I would like to suggest an implementation of a color inspector feature that would allow us to see the RGBA/HSLA values in the 2D viewport, or even inspect the values currently displayed in the 3D viewport.
Justification
This helps immensely with keeping your textures under control. For example, the roughness 0-1 values can be represented in the viewport reflections very differently based on the specific environmental (HDRi) lighting and albedo values. I understand you can solo channels and that there is an unlit mode too now, nevertheless, especially in more complex node trees, seeing what exactly a certain blending mode or color mixture does to your work in terms of actual values is very helpful.
Implementation Details
Perhaps an optionally enabled feature in the settings with allow the values of a pixel that the mouse hovers over in the 2D/3D viewport to appear in the bottom panel just like in Davinci Resolve or Photoshop. See the screenshot.
Thank you for considering!
