Unexpected error occurred Ubuntu/Zorin

Hello,

I am trying to activate InstaMAT Studio (v3.2) on Zorin OS (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base) using the standalone archive extracted to /opt/instamat.

When entering the 6-digit email verification code, the activation fails with the error:
“An unexpected error occurred. TLS initialization failed”

System environment:

  • OS: Zorin OS 17 (Ubuntu 24.04 base)
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080
  • Installation Path: /opt/instamat

Attempted troubleshooting:

  1. Verified system openssl and ca-certificates are up to date.
  2. Created symlinks for system OpenSSL libraries (libssl.so.3 and libcrypto.so.3) into /opt/instamat/lib/.
  3. Tried launching via /opt/instamat/run.sh.

It seems InstaMAT Studio relies specifically on OpenSSL 1.1 (libssl.so.1.1), which is deprecated in Ubuntu 24.04.
