I recently downloaded and installed InstaMAT and when prompted attempted to Activate a new Pioneer License. The Activation step failed in the Studio App, but I do see that the License is Activated and matching my Machine ID.
I tried to restart the application and use the Login as the activation was already completed, but the same error is occurring.
I am running on a Windows 11 Machine, and did try to remove the ProgramData files that were stored to see if that would unblock the issue. I also disabled the firewall temporarily to see if that was causing any issues. Nothing seems to have corrected this issue.
So on initial install that far right card was not available, as the pioneer activation wasn’t started at that time. So went through the pioneer activation steps and the application failed.
I then attempted to clear the ProgramData/InstaMAT directory (Windows 11 activation) and attempted to reopen the application. I then used Far right ‘Login to activate’ and this failed multiple times before my posting here.
After see your post this morning, I logged back into the InstaMAT License Management application and saw that the seat was free and the previous attempt was deactivated. Not sure if this was done by your team, but this seems to have fixed the issue. After this was ‘unlocked’, using the ‘Login to Activate’ was successful.
Not sure if the installation/activation has a bug or not, but for others running into this issue. You may need your activation seat ‘opened’ as it is locked and will not allow activation if in that state.
Thanks for the additional information. Could you elaborate on what you mean by “application failed” for the first attempt, as well as when using the far-right “login to activate” field?
Glad to hear you have been able to successfully activate to use InstaMAT.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on it, and we appreciate your feedback.
Happy texturing, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
